Is sending traffic to a sponsor a dead end street?

I did the research ages ago, and I've lost a lot of enthusiasm for promoting adult paysites. I've got into the habit of running through the fhgs of a few big sponsors, and just using their stuff. I think that there are problems looming for the adult biz, and that's what has triggered quite a few of my posts recently. There are a number of really good small sponsors, and I do use them when I find a suitable name.

In my defence - there are still a lot of sponsors who abuse traffic from fhgs, and those are the links I've been using the most. I do get good results from single picture promotions, and related structures, and that is probably the way forward for me.

Lets hope this thread is a warning to others - check you sponsors regularly.
