Am I the only one who hates this sponsor spam?

After all it's the "spam me..." OP they're mainly trying to sell to. Can't remember when I last saw a "spam me..." thread from you.

I'm sure MaxCash Sarah is right that it gets more affiliates signing up to promote - & If you open a sponsor's sticky thread about their latest paysite you expect to see some BIG pictures & screencaps of the tour don't you?

However, what I don't like is when a huge html format email from a sponsor that I'm not signed up to promote lands in one of my website admin email boxes. That's a damned cheek.

It's a message board, not an art gallery.

If some struggling sponsor has to post about three screens worth of stuff to try to get newbies to sign up, then I reckon they should be avoided. Who wants to see a half sized version of the paysite tour in a post anyway. I'd much rather they wrote a bit of intelligent text, and included a link to the tour. Maybe the spammers only get paid as a result of signups via the webmaster page, and that's why they don't want newbies looking at the tours.

There's a reasont that you haven't seen a "spam me" thread from me - I discovered that the search function works on Netpond.

You can then read through all the lovely text comments and links, and just skip over the cock-lipstick posts.
