Sure, active x or java disabled, that's always a point. But honest, people which disable active x and java because they consider these features as risky, but at the same time don't mind to give their creditcard datas away to buy porn online? Do you believe that?

I would rather think it doesn't mean a big finanical loss, if you lose those people.

Interactive galleries should be possible. I use already flash photo galleries with my affiliate links. I also have another book demo that includes clickable links.
However, anything new on that field had to start from sponsors side. If you show fancy flash things, surfers problably expect those at the paysite also. If it's not there, surfers may feel tricked in and then you lose them.
